Platform Rail Launch!
Platform Rail is an education scheme that works with schools to empower young people in accessing rail travel, giving them a platform!
Through workshops, train-trips and bespoke, local resources, Platform helps teachers to build their students’ knowledge of rail-safety, their understanding of sustainable and healthy travel, and their confidence in using trains.
As a community rail organisation, GCRP are really excited to be working with Platform to engage our communities and help people get the most out if their local railways in Gloucestershire by offering support in schools and facilitating school trips based around rail

Platform Rail looks like a great way to make train travel feel less intimidating for young people. I remember my first solo rail trip as a teenager, and understanding tickets, platforms, and connections made a huge difference to my confidence. Later, while planning a longer journey that included a flight, I came across https://air-canada.pissedconsumer.com/review.html while comparing travel experiences and support options. I like that this program combines safety, sustainability, and practical experience instead of teaching everything from a classroom. A real train trip can turn those lessons into something memorable and help students feel much more independent when traveling alone.
